The Regenera Activa treatment is based on Autologous Micrograft Transfer (AMT). The process is completed in a sterile manner, and involves 3 simple steps.
Step 1: To harvest your own (autologous) tissue, 3 to 5 scalp skin samples are painlessly extracted under local anaesthesia using a small biopsy punch from the back of the scalp, where strong, healthy follicles are abundant.
Step 2: Micrografts (80 micrometre sized fragments of live tissue) are then obtained by processing these scalp samples with the Rigeneracon device. Besides your own tissue and sterile normal saline, no other chemicals are used. The resultant fluid suspension contains approximately 180,000 live cells and growth factors to kickstart your hair growth.
Step 3: Transfer of micrografts is done immediately to ensure cell viability. Micro-injections done quickly and deftly in the thinning areas, delivering the stromal vascular fraction to the weakened hair bulbs. The scalp is lightly massaged for even spread.
It can also be done pre/post hair transplantation to enhance or reinforce the results of your surgery.
*Both Regenera Activa and VitaScalp Therapy should be done on a clean scalp. Hair should be washed and hair styling products avoided before the session.
Most patients undergo one Regenera Activa treatment every 9 to 12 months to help counter the follicle weakening effects of genes, hormones and aging.
Depending on individual condition, VitaScalp Therapy customised “scalp-cial” with low-level laser therapy (LLLT) may be done before Regenera Activa to prep the scalp, and/or as maintenance therapy after.

There is no downtime for this treatment. You can resume normal activities after the procedure. Vigorous exercise is not advised for 3 days, and no swimming for 7 days.
