Why We Choose Emface for Long-Term Facial Support
Emface works with what you already have — your skin, your muscles, your natural structure — and helps reposition sagging tissues back to their original, lifted, youthful state.

Emface works with what you already have — your skin, your muscles, your natural structure — and helps reposition sagging tissues back to their original, lifted, youthful state.

Facial aging isn’t just about lines or volume loss. It shows us subtly at first, in how the face holds itself.

Over time, subtle structural changes across multiple layers of the face — skin, fat, muscle, and connective tissue — begin to shift its shape and support. These gradual changes often go unnoticed at first, but they contribute to the soft descent of facial features, especially in the mid and lower face.

At Moyem, we focus on treatments that support the entire facial structure, not just the surface. This is why Emface has become part of our long-term approach to facial rejuvenation.

A Multi-Layered Approach

Emface uses two synchronized technologies:

  • HIFES™ (High-Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation) to improve muscle tone
  • Radiofrequency (RF) to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin

The goal isn’t to inflate or replace volume. It’s to support and retrain facial tissues — helping the face hold itself better, more like it used to. As muscle tone improves, underlying fat pads can shift back toward their original position, contributing to a more lifted and harmonious appearance over time.

What the Research Shows

A 2025 study published in Dermatologic Surgery evaluated the clinical effects of Emface across 43 participants. Each underwent four 20-minute sessions using HIFES and RF.

Key findings included:

  • +3.3mL volume in the cheeks (zygomatic region)
  • −2.3mL volume in the jawline (mandibular region)
  • A net upward shift of 5.6mL in soft tissue
  • 68% of the volume improvement was maintained after 1 year
  • 94.6% patient satisfaction, with low discomfort (average pain score: 1.6/10)
  • No reported adverse events

This suggests that Emface can help gently reposition facial tissues by improving both muscle tone and dermal support — without adding synthetic volume.

How We Use Emface

We often recommend Emface to patients who:

  • Want a more lifted or refreshed appearance without injectables
  • Are starting to notice changes in facial shape, not just skin texture
  • Are looking to support the results of other treatments in a longer-term, foundational way
  • Prefer a natural outcome that doesn’t rely on volume

Emface can be used on its own or in combination with other treatments. Over time, we find it helps reduce over-reliance on fillers by addressing the underlying cause of sagging — not just the symptom.

Why the Original Matters

Cheaper copycats of Emface have begun appearing in Singapore. But the effects of Emface aren’t accidental — they’re based on years of research, clinical trials, and proprietary protocols.

The recent study is one of many that back the technology’s safety and efficacy. Imitation devices may look similar, but often lack the research infrastructure to ensure consistent, meaningful results.

When it comes to treatments that affect your facial structure, we believe in staying with technologies that are clinically validated — not just cosmetically convincing.

If you’re considering Emface as part of your long-term facial health plan, we’re happy to help you explore whether it’s the right fit — and how it fits into a broader strategy for natural, lasting support.
